Your Heart is the most important life tool you have. It matters most of all, not your skills or experiences or knowledge!



Why You Must Guard Your Heart.....





Because your heart is extremely valuable. It is not something you should handle casually-like it does not matter. It is the essence of who you are. It is your authentic self- the core of your being. It is where all your dreams, passions and desires live. Your heart is that part of you that connects with GOD and people- your family, friends and colleagues alike. If your spiritual heart dies, your vision/leadership dies. This is why King Solomon says "Above all else", make it your top priority.



Because everything you do flows from it. King Solomon says "it is the wellspring of life". Meaning that, your heart is the source of everything in your life. Your heart overflows into thoughts, words and action. If your heart is unhealthy, it has an impact on everything else. It threatens your family, your friends, your ministry, your career and indeed your destiny. That is why it is very imperative you guard it.



Because your heart is under constant attack by the negative imaginations of the dark mind- one in which there are many casualties! We have an enemy who is bent on destroying GODs' creation. He opposes GODs' image(you and I). And if you do not guard your heart, he will be pleased to come in. Remember that he only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy.


Are you going to let him win? I guess your answer is as good as mine! We have the necessary tools to guards our hearts and they are: 


Whatsoever is true...Whatsoever is honourable...Whatsoever is just....Whatsoever is pure....Whatsoever is lovely.....Whatsoever is commendable.....Fix your mind only on these things!

The enemy has one goal; for you to change the way you're talking. The tongue is a creative force!  A few years ago, I literally was magneting good things, especially people of like minds, money, material things. Everyday favour was my lifestyle. I had a stubborn faith, it annoyed a lot of people, because they felt I was not being realistic, yet everyday brought even better favours. I got a job I didn't apply for;  a very good one!  B ut you see, when your faith is not being sharpened, even though you think you're standing, you'll wake up one day and realise you've hit the rock bottom! Guard your heart and space with all diligence! No matter who the person is, if they are not speaking your faith language, do not make room for them to feel comfortable with their faithless opinions and ideologies. If the church you attend doesn't stir your faith or belief, LEAVE!  Protect your faith journey by living daily on GODS' word and NEVER budge! THE WORD OF GOD WORKS! #
