I have only watched Big Brother Naija once, say for like 15 to 20 minutes. Reason being that, since I hate judging, I didn't want to conclude based on other peoples opinion. I wanted to have my own opinion about the housemates. But then, someone stood out from all the housemates, Ifuennada. Her intellect, go-getter spirit, and the fact that she's funny wanted to glue me on to the screen, but hey, I had so much to do and was already feeling like I had wasted my 20minutes.

Today, I learnt that she was evicted from the house some days ago and that Big Brother has given the audience the opportunity to vote back their evicted housemates into the house. So, I'm using my platform to vote Ifuennada back into the Big Brother Naija House. I believe she still has so much to offer.

Well done Girl. You have my Vote! Guys, please vote for her!

As bad as things may look, there certainly must be something to be grateful to GOD for. If you focus on the situation at hand, you are only giving more room to be anxious which will automatically affect the rest of your day(s). So if you ask me, I would say, you should not focus on the things you do not want or the mistakes that happened. Focus on the positive things in your life! And trust me, you should be happy for the mistakes, because "you just got wiser!'

The antidote to frustration is FAITH! Not in your cleverness or your hard toil, but in GODS' guidance. Always remind yourself that GOD is with you, and that HE will never fail you. Say these words, " GOD is with me, helping me."

How much time do you spend with yourself? How much of you do you know? Have you taken out time to really discover who you REALLY are, and why you are living? The truth is, if you take time to get to know yourself - REALLY know yourself -you will discover things that were previously hidden or denied because they didn’t match others’ expectations of you or maybe you lacked the courage to be who GOD has called you be because you feel that you are too small to face the "big" task.

Here is the best and quickest way to get to know yourself: spend time alone as often as possible. Shut off the television and radio, block outside distractions, and simply allow yourself to BE. Ensure that you have your journal with you anytime you're having your alone time, because you will be shocked at the things you will discover about yourself.

Don't worry if you didn't discover anything yet. It is a gradual process. That's why you need to always spend time with yourself.

The more you do this, the more connected you become with your inner self. You begin to tap into your inner dialogue, and a deeper understanding of yourself will surface. The changes you experience from this process might seem small at first, but they quickly gain momentum.

Having harvested all the knowledge and wisdom we can from our mistakes and failures, we should put them behind and move forward, because vain regretting interferes with the flow of power into our own personalities! Get moving!!!

You become a worrier by always worrying. You can be free from worry by practicing a strong faith. With all the strength and perseverance you can command, start practicing faith by dwelling on GOD'S word. You stand to gain much when you have faith in GOD. All you need is believe, no matter what your situation looks like.

The best and healthy way of preparing poultry for a meal is to remove the visible skin and fats prior to cooking. Roast, bake or broil poultry instead of deep frying to prevent oil absorption. Among the parts, the chicken breasts contain high protein and low fat which make it the better choice cuts.

So go ahead and have fun with weekend with some nice, we'll spiced roasted, grilled chicken or broiled chicken, with this tip.

Emotions can be a tricky thing to understand, but it becomes easier when we consider that our emotions are fueled by our thoughts.

If we THINK negatively about ourselves, we will FEEL badly about ourselves.

If we focus on the negative in our lives, our lives will seem to have a negative theme. It’s all about what we focus on the most that determines how we feel.

Think about the last time your day took a sudden nosedive because of a "simple switch" of thought.

One of the ways I've learnt to be emotionally strong is to occupy my mind with every single promise that GOD has made to be in the bible. When my thought is filled with GOD'S word, where's the room to feel unhappy?

Water is vital to sustain a healthy life. It is recommended to drink at least 8 ounces of 8 glasses of water every day. It aids the cells, tissues and organs to function normally. Body water deficit or dehydration can cause serious damage to kidneys and other organs which may result to mental confusion, coma and even death if not given medical intervention immediately.

So, let's cultivate the habit of drinking water, no just when you're thirsty.

What were your dreams when you were a child? What happened to those dreams?

If you are like most of us who were told by our parents, friends, partners, colleagues, teachers how unrealistic our dreams were and have buried those long-ago dreams so deeply in your subconscious mind that you can no longer even remember them, don’t lose hope! All you need is to look deeply inside and self-examine yourself to bring your dreams to the surface.

Nevertheless, if they remain hidden, there is one important thing to remember: You are not the same person as you were back then!

While it is possible to rekindle a dream you’ve held since childhood, you do not have to. Instead, let new dreams make themselves known to you. Ask yourself what type of work would make you feel most fulfilled. Ask yourself how you can best make a contribution to the world by doing something you truly love.

The truth is, many of us have completely lost touch with our passions. We are so focused on the things we have to do that we have no time at all for play or exploration.

Let me say this; you must create time! Set aside some time to discover your true self; that will help you to figure out what your passion is, or even explore new activities so that you can decide whether they might be one of your true passions. Nothing is impossible!

When you keep making the same mistakes over and over, and you keep saying, "you know I'm not perfect", that's the devil beating the drums of destruction for you and you're ignorantly dancing to it! That's why people ain't getting any better or even make efforts to get better!

We must learn to take responsibilities for our actions/mistakes, accept that we're wrong, learn from it and determine to get better- that's the only way to walk in CHRIST'S perfection! Here's what our LORD JESUS said in Matthew 5:48, " You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

So, stop believing those lies. That's part of the devil's tricks to keep you down in his claws for life. Don't allow it! Determine to be perfect just like JESUS!

Stay blessed!

Even if all the outer aspects of our lives seem wonderful, our emotions can still cause us to feel unhappy. Memories of events that caused us great distress can stifle our development. Negative thought habits can fill us with feelings of frustration and powerlessness. Negative self-talk can cause us to sabotage any goals we set.

Whatever we focus on the most determines how we feel. Even if everyone around you is emotionally down or having a bad day, you can choose to stand out by being emotionally strong and happy. It all depends on what you allow your mind to think.

For instance, someone steps on your toes when you were having a really good day; do you start cursing the person or would you rather have a more kind approach towards the situation at hand? Believe it or not, your attitude tends to attract most of your experiences, feeling negative will continue to attract more rude and inconsiderate people into your day while feeling positive will attract more friendly and considerate people in your day.

It may seem like a difficult thing to control your anger when it's ignited, but with practice it gets easier. I'm talking from experience. Rather than internalizing the things that happen to you, especially things you can’t control, simply let go of them and keep your emotional balance. If you pay attention to how you feel throughout the course of your day, you will become aware of whether your thoughts are negative or positive. Then you can simply choose to release your negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts – which will make you feel better. Again, it takes consistent effort to fully master this technique.

If there is one thing I've learned in life, it is the understanding that success is a journey, not a destination. It is not about what you do, but WHO you become through the achievement of your dreams.

Success is a process of letting go of perceived limitations, growing and developing as unique individuals, believing in our true potential, honoring the best parts of ourselves and letting the world know who our source is- GOD.

Believe it or not, the mind is where all the issues of life and events are birthed. In this journey to success, most of the process, if not all, takes place in our very own minds.

Listen dear friend, nature has designed it that you are successful; you've always had the potential to be successful, you just need to believe it and embrace it! So what are you waiting for? Let's get started!!!!

"Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars."- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts.

Way back during my secondary school days, I was among the six students that got picked to represent my school in an English Essay Writing Competition. Truth be told, I was the least among the rest when it came to having excellent grades, not only in English, but in all the subjects. I actually wondered why I was picked, but I guess the teachers saw in me what I couldn't see in myself then. Rather than shy away from the challenge, I saw it as an opportunty to improve in my essay writing; and even though we didnt win the price, I made an excellent grade in English Language during our final examinations.

So my point is, in life, we have choices; and we either have a pessimistic view and live a self-defeated life or decide to be optimistic and take a challenging and fulfilled life.

So why nurture an optimistic point of view? And why now?

Research has shown that, optimism has been linked to positive mood and good morale; to academic, athletic, military, occupational and political success; to popularity; to good health and even to long life; and freedom from trauma and every negative situation.

On the other hand, the rates of depression and pessimism have never been higher.

It is true that the challenges could be so overwhelming, but wouldn't you rather see the best in every situation than see the worst?
The truth is, optimists are confronted with the same harsh challenges, but what differs is the way they see their challenges. They believe that defeat is just a temporary setback, and focus on ways to solve the problem or even see the experience as an opportunity to learn and grow. They never say never. They believe that things will get better.

People respond positively to positive minded people. Their optimistic view of the world can be contagious and influence those they are with.

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher! So what's your point of view??

Getting to know yourself can blast through any negative preconceptions you may be persistently entertaining in your thoughts or mind. Remember, your self-image is usually based on the conclusions you formed from your past experiences. For instance, you may hold a belief that you are not a good writer, or you’re not a “people person”, or that you don’t have any special skills, but is that really true? How do you know for sure?

Please don’t say, “Because I tried it once and I sucked at it.” Trying something once or only a few times should not discourage you. You only need to make up your mind to succeed.

The truth is, you can become good or even great at anything if you truly want it and are willing to never give up.

My question is: Do you really want to get “there”? Getting to know yourself helps you separate what you really want from what others expect of you.
